Maintenance Expeditor – Instrumentation & Electrical

PRINCIPAL TASKS:

This position is responsible for the Parts, materials/resources expediting functions of routine maintenance activities within Shell’s Safe Work Practices and HSE guidelines.
* Requisition of parts, materials, & resources for daily maintenance needs
* Expedite materials, hot shots, storehouse withdraws
* Interface with purchasing, and stores as required for the procurement and delivery of parts, materials
* Assist with identification of spare parts gaps
* Provide daily support for Routine maintenance instrumentation and electrical CTM’s in the procurement of parts, materials, and hot shots/vendor requests.
* Acting Maintenance Liaison for tracking of parts, materials, & resources between Shell Contract/ Procurement Group and Maintenance Group.
* Provides technical assistance as required for maintenance personnel
* Works closely with Purchasing/Stores/Warehouse and the Maintenance Scheduler and Planners.
* Interfaces with project and plant change planning as required in regards to procurement of parts/materials
* Creates, uses, and maintains plant history and other technical information to include in current job plans.
* Prepares reports as required.
* Uses safe work practices, procedures in daily work and participates in safety meetings.
